Description
The Potassium Sulfate is a water-soluble fertilizer BTC (low chlorine content) suitable for use in both Organic Agriculture and Integrated Agriculture, ideal for application on crops that are particularly sensitive to Chlorine.
When and how to use it?
The Potassium Sulfate is available in 25 Kg packages and can be used:
- on all tree crops in fertigation, throughout the cycle, at doses of 30 - 40 Kg per hectare, repeating the application 3 - 4 times.
- On tomato and vegetable crops use doses of 2 - 3 Kg per hectare.
- On Floriculture and ornamentals 3 - 5 Kg per hectare.
How does it work?
The high content of Potassium (50%), which is completely soluble and therefore immediately available to plants, helps to:
- promote the accumulation of sugars;
- improve color;
- provide greater drinkability;
- improve the organoleptic qualities of fruits.
The Sulfur (42% content):
- participates in chlorophyll synthesis;
- improves the uptake of nitrogen by plants;
- lowers the pH of the soil, improving the uptake of macro and micro elements such as iron, thus countering problems of iron chlorosis.
What is it used for?
A correct use of Potassium Sulfate at the indicated doses and periods:
- Improves the shine and gives greater robustness to vegetation;
- Improves production in qualitative and quantitative terms;
- Gives greater consistency, drinkability, and storability to fruits;
- Provides greater resistance to climatic and parasitic adversities;
- Increases the shelf-life of harvested products;
- Regulates membrane permeability;
- Makes the fruit more intense in color and richer in sugars;
- Regulates osmotic pressure within cells;
- Increases the size and uniformity of fruits;
- Plays a role in the activation of numerous enzymes.
