Description
Cuprogel is an interesting mixture of microelements (Cu and Fe) and Silica Gel suitable for preventing and treating deficiencies of these elements and inducing resistance to biotic and abiotic stresses in plants.
The use of Cuprogel in defense protocols increases the protection of crops against various types of pathogenic attacks. Copper (cupric oxide) is an essential microelement for the life of plants and animals, which performs many biological functions. If deficient, crops can suffer from growth and quality problems.
Iron (Fe) is a fundamental microelement for correct and balanced plant growth. Iron deficiency manifests itself with yellowing and chlorosis of the leaf apparatus in many crops.
SKL Silica Gel is an extrafine product (0.2μm) of the highest quality that is used for local control of moisture on vegetation, thanks to its excellent dehydrating capacity. This capacity is based on an adsorption process, in which water vapor molecules bind to the external and internal surface of the gel. Silica Gel has remarkable porosity, which gives it a greater total area available for exchange of matter: 1000 g of product can absorb 4 - 5000 ml of water.
These unique characteristics make Silica Gel an excellent ally and synergist of copper for the containment of the main fungal diseases of crops.
