Description
Cuprokao is an interesting blend of microelements (Cu and Fe) and Kaolin suitable for preventing and treating deficiencies of these elements and inducing resistance to biotic and abiotic stresses in plants.
The use of Cuprokao in defense protocols increases the protection of crops against attacks from various pathogens.
Copper (cupric oxide) is an essential microelement for the life of plants and animals, which performs many biological functions. If deficient, crops can suffer from growth and quality problems.
Iron (Fe) is a fundamental microelement for proper and balanced plant growth. Iron deficiency manifests as yellowing and chlorosis of the leaf apparatus in many crops.
It also reduces water loss through evaporation from the plant. Kaolin makes the leaves whiter and brighter, which produces a pleasant cosmetic effect and confuses insects that attack plants, such as dipterans. These insects are deterred from laying eggs on the fruits because they do not recognize their preferred target. This characteristic is very useful for olive growers to effectively counter the olive fly.
