What is Organic Mustard Oil in Agriculture?
Senapoil, obtained from the seeds of Brassica nigra and alba, has a phytoprotective and phytostimulating action on all crops and represents an eco-friendly alternative to synthetic products.
It is a source of vitamins B, C, E, K, proteins, and minerals; the seeds contain phytoprotective substances such as sinapine (alkaloid), sinigrin (glucosinolate), and allyl isothiocyanate.
What is Mustard Oil used for in Agriculture?
Allyl isothiocyanate, characteristic of Mustard Oil, is able to protect the plant from insect pests. This compound is even toxic to the plant itself, which is why it is stored in the harmless form of Glucosinolate.
When a parasite attacks the treated plant, allyl isothiocyanate is released, which performs its repellent action.
Senapoil is obtained exclusively through pressing and mechanical filtration. No chemical synthesis processes are involved in the production process.

Dosage
The product can be used on all tree, herbaceous and industrial crops, both for foliar and root application, in fertigation or sprayer bar.
The product should be dissolved in water beforehand at a temperature not lower than 10-15°C with proper agitation to adequately homogenize it with water. Therefore, it is recommended to pay attention to the complete dissolution of the product.
